Some Steps To Help You Get Started:
We offer three styles of Connect Groups at our church:
- Activity Based: This could be anything from group bowlings, dinner dates, coffee, hiking, knitting, running, board games, or whatver else you can think of. The focus of this model is building relationships with others.
- Sermon Based: These groups follow along with our sermon series and discuss the Sunday message. Guides are given out to help lead the conversations.
- Special Interest: These groups study books of the bible, or topics such as parenting, finances, marriage, etc. These groups may also use materials from Right Now Media.

- Decide when you'll meet: People can start getting excited once there's a date on the calendar. Don't worry about finding the perfect date. Just do your best to land on a first meeting time that works for as many people as possible. For Morning Star, A Connect Group is a group of three or more. So recruit two of your friends to help you get started!

- Chat with us: If you haven't already, You'll soon be hearing from our Discipleship Pastor. Need Ideas? Hit a roadblock? Is something going on in your group you need help thinking through? Our team is here to offer personal assistance along the way, so be sure to get back to them to begin building a relationship that will inspire and encourage you in this new adventure.
